Let's Mock Draft is a free fantasy sports drafting tool and data site, operated by Smarter Foundry LLC, an independent company based in California. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the NFL, the NBA, any team, or any fantasy platform.
What it is
Live mock draft rooms for fantasy football and fantasy basketball, drafted against simulated managers with real strategies so nobody waits for a room to fill. Around the draft sit the surfaces the same data produces: player pages with draft ranges and in-season projections, ADP boards, draft strategy by pick, weekly and rest-of-season rankings, and Who would you draft, a head-to-head question whose answers are a dataset of their own.
There is no sign-up, no account, and nothing to pay for. The site does not offer betting, daily fantasy contests, or prizes of any kind.
How the numbers are made
Every ranking, projection, draft range and strategy figure on this site is produced by our own models. Draft position and availability come from simulating thousands of complete drafts per league format through the same draft engine the rooms run on. In-season football projections come from a statistical model over observed usage and efficiency, and the basketball board from a projection model over observed statistics. Nothing is edited by hand, no analyst rankings are bought, scraped or republished, and every board prints the model version and the date it was generated.
Those models read a small number of external datasets, each credited on the page where it is used: player and statistics data from nflverse (CC BY 4.0), aggregate average draft position from Fantasy Football Calculator, basketball statistics from BALLDONTLIE, and player-market prices that inform the in-season model. Where an external figure appears on a page it is shown under its own name beside ours, so the two can be compared rather than mistaken for one another.
The headlines on a player page are discovered automatically from other publishers and matched to the player by name. We do not write, summarise or host them; each one links to the publisher who did.
